Shua
Shua is an artist + singer-songwriter from Southern California. His blend of indie and classic soul melodies rooted in gospel and r&b pulls the listener in - offering introspection and comfort. The themes of romance, heartbreak, faith and doubt are aimed to resonate with many, but are honed in on “the lonely people”. Anyone that’s known the emptiness of isolation or the fog of physical + spiritual absence will find a home here. Shua re-cants in song stories of heartbreak and headaches, but not without a vision of solace found in faith and a fully realized humanity.

Tyson Motsenbocker
In North Central Washington State, Tyson Motsenbocker grew up in the apple orchards and pine forests at the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. It’s the pastoral sound of his childhood that has defined the sound of his music, even among the freeways and fast pace of his new Southern California home. After the release of two EP’s Until it Lands and Rivers and Roads Motsenbocker defined himself as a mature lyricist and accomplished songwriter, sharing the stage with the likes of David Bazan, Vance Joy and James Bay.
In 2013, after the death of his mother and hero, Motsenbocker walked the six hundred mile stretch of coastline to San Francisco in memory of her. In the contrast of loud cars on a dirty highway with the serene beauty of the Pacific Ocean Motsenbocker contracted a new view of life beyond loss, a renegotiated relationship with God and peace inside the turmoil.

John Ellender
John Ellender is an avid lover of life. Born the fourth of six children, he was raised in Mer Rouge, Louisiana, a small farm town of 500 on the edge of the Mississippi Delta. While southern soil rooted him in the sounds of old country and gospel, his Blue Ridge Mountain summer camp adventures were filled with the classic American folk sing-a-longs. The heart of John is a jungle, with far more questions than answers. Currently based in Baton Rouge, you can find John picking a banjo, trying to live out his mission: “to do what the Spirit say do.”
